Being a buddy involves being respectful, caring and responsible towards others. Junior Secondary students have the opportunity to be buddies for other students in the school. Becoming a buddy involves completing a written application stating why you would be a good buddy. A successful application then results in being paired with a 'buddee', some 'on the job' training in how to be a good buddy, and the signing of a buddy contract.
This year 22 of our Junior Secondary students submitted successful buddy applications, and a further 3 students successfully became 'buddies-in-training' for 2017. The students received their badges during a special assembly.
