On Thursday 30 May, 35 members of the Nambour Special School Choir 'Sing Sign Sway' travelled to Coolum State School to participate in Choral Fanfare. The school choir is an inclusive choir, where there are no requirements to be able to vocalise, sign or sway to be part of the choir, just an enjoyment of music. The students performed 'One Call Away' and 'Fight Song', two of their favourite songs, to a large audience of choirs from other school and families and supporters. There was certainly a lot of enthusiasm on the stage while the students were performing!! The students also had the opportunity to watch the performances of a range of other choirs from other North Coast schools. We also are an enthusiastic audience!
Thank you to the staff who run our three weekly choirs. This was a very important opportunity for our students to share their unique abilities and their enjoyment of music.
