Thank you to everyone in our school community for working together to keep our students, staff and community safe.  This is a difficult and challenging time for many of us, and our teachers are here to support families with learning@home.   We really appreciate the effort families have gone to in keeping students at home in line with the Public Health Directive, particularly with the additional risk to students inherent in this Delta strain. Hopefully this will result in us being able to have everyone back at school next week.

StudentSharePoint has lots of resources for families, and your childs learning@home teacher will be contacting you daily and providing some basic lesson plans, ideas and resources.   Learning@Home needs to work for your family, and your childs Learning@Home teacher will be able to help with ideas to make learning fun, and fit in with your family routine.  Some days it just might not work to do any of the provided learning activities, and that is fine.  It's important that families take care of themselves first, and there is no pressure to complete activities if it is causing stress.

Students of essential workers who are onsite with a skeleton staff are engaging in the same learning activities as provided for Learning@Home, so please don't be concerned that your child is 'missing out' on any learning at this time.

Stay safe, and we hope to see everyone back at school very soon.
