Nambour Special School has a ‘whole school’ approach to the Planning, Teaching, Assessing and Reporting cycle. Students from P-10 work on the same topic each term, identifying specific content that will build on each student’s knowledge, skills and abilities. Planning, Teaching and Assessing is organised around the Learning Areas of English, Maths, Science, HASS (Humanities and Social Sciences), Health and Physical Education, The Arts and Technology.
